The title refers to Petra Medes' own upbringing in Sävedalen in Gothenburg. In the book she recounts her memories of the 1970s and 1980s, with shame and pride as recurring subjects. In addition to the childhood depiction, the reader may also follow a day in the hectic life of adult Petra Medes.
