The Friche la belle de Mai club in Marseille returns with substantially the same formats: cabaret clubs on Friday evenings for live performances, with discoveries at affordable prices (five euros in advance), and Saturday evenings with more experienced artists.

Hostilities began this Friday with the arrival of Raxon, an Egyptian DJ who lives in Barcelona, ​​accompanied by the two residents of the Cabaret Aléatoire, Jack de Marseille and Jack Ollins. On Saturday, the forerunner who has become the size of techno Derrick May will come and fluff the wasteland. The native of Detroit returns to the Cabaret Aléatoire after five years of absence.

A before Trax in tribute to Jul

On Friday the 14th, Soichi Terada will perform live for the Cabaret club format. This Japanese DJ born in 1965 released several albums in the early 90s, before embarking on the production of video game music. His retrospective compilation Rush Hour, released in 2015, recently brought him back to the forefront. Surprise, a “before” is organized that day by Trax, with the presentation of their new editorial line and their new issue with rapper Jul on the cover.

The Berlin label Stroboscopic Artefact will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday 22 February with its founder, Lucy, two DJS from the label and their experimental techno for a very special night. On March 20, it's a cabaret club honoring women with techno with oriental touches by Deena Abdelwahed. And a surprise could herald spring.
