Justin Bieber has decided to get naked in his YouTube docu-series, Seasons . In the episode The Dark Season , he talks about his past drug use and why he decided to get out of it. The 25-year-old artist was afraid of dying. He explains how his security team came to "check my pulse at night" to make sure he was still alive.
The interpreter of Sorry had become addicted in particular to ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms, in addition to regular cannabis consumption since adolescence. "At one point, I was drinking lean (a mixture based on codeine syrup), I was taking ecsta, MDMA, mushrooms, everything," he says.
"Smoke a joint to start the day"
“People don't know how serious it was. The first thing I did when I got up in the morning was to take pills and smoke a joint to start the day. It was scary, ”he comments.
Justin Bieber explains his addiction partly by the need to have his own experiences, but also by the pressure to grow - and therefore to make mistakes - "in front of the cameras". "I had another level of exposure and I had a lot of money," he adds.
