New problem for Chris Brown: he will have to find new lawyers. His advisers, who were defending him against charges of sexual assault, said they would withdraw.
A young woman filed a complaint against the rapper and one of his relatives, Lowel Grissom Jr., following an evening at Chris Brown's in 2017. She claims to have been sexually assaulted by the star's friend. Until now, the interpreter of No Guidance has been defended by Blair Berk, of the firm Tarlow & Berk, and Zia Modabber. The two lawyers asked the court for permission to no longer represent him.
Difficulty reaching their client
“In recent months, Mr. Brown has not fulfilled the material obligations listed in our letter of engagement, and has made it difficult for Tarlow & Berk to represent him effectively. Our relationship with Mr. Brown has come to a point where Tarlow & Berk can no longer adequately represent and defend him, ”said the official request obtained by The Blast. The other lawyer made a similar motion.
The two also explain that reaching their client is very complicated, since they do not have their phone number. They can only contact him through his manager, Ant Wilson.
Chris Brown denies the facts
