According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, a Japanese woman in her 50s living in Chiba Prefecture, who returned home from Wuhan in Hubei Province last month on a charter aircraft, was infected with the new coronavirus on April 4.
The woman did not find any infection on her return home virus tests, but she showed signs of pneumonia on the 1st of this month. It is the 22nd person to be infected in Japan.
