Ed Sheeran singer - Zuma / Starface

Ed Sheeran will have to reveal the amount of profits generated by his tube Thinking Out Loud . The singer is accused of having plagiarized Marvin Gaye 's Let's Get It On for his title. The plaintiffs want to know what the title brought to the British artist, even indirectly, like when he sang it live.

Judge Louis Stanton partly agreed with them, asking, in a 10-page document relayed by the Hollywood Reporter, that Ed Sheeran reveals his income statement.

No more live version?

The outcome could have an impact on Ed Sheeran's concerts. He may indeed no longer be able to play this title on stage. A fact that contests the star's lawyer, arguing that his client has the right to sing his titles, the opposing party arguing the opposite.

Thinking Out Loud is in any case one of Ed Sheeran's biggest successes. The title has more than 2.8 billion views on YouTube.
