January 10 marks 75 years of People's Artist of Russia Valentina Telichkina. She grew up in a large family of a dispossessed peasant and was always fond of creativity. After leaving school Telichkina on the first attempt entered the Moscow State Institute of Cinematography and in her student years she began acting in films. She served in the theater, but in the end she preferred the set to the stage. The filmography of the actress has more than 70 full-length tapes and series. Among them are "Forget-me-nots", "Beginning", "It Can't Be!", "Five Evenings", "Team" and others. For many years, Valentina Telichkina devotes free time to painting.
