The attack happened after a name-gathering to get Netflix to remove the humorous group's criticized Christmas series Jesus' first temptation had reached over two million signatures.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's son Eduardo Bolsonaro recently called Jesus' first temptation "junk" in a statement on Twitter. The president has called himself a "proud homophobic".
