The ceremony, which was attended by the Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, and the Director General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai, Hilal Saeed Al Marri, featured distinguished fireworks displays, which were accompanied by the presentation of the Dubai Fountain on the song “Dubai Another Planet” by Rashid Al Majid. , Which was produced specifically for the 25th edition of the festival, which is an extension of the song "Dubai Dana Al Dunya" that was launched during the first session of the Dubai Shopping Festival in 1996.
The opening ceremony, which was attended by thousands of invitees and the public, included an Arabic lyric evening performed by Emirati artist Hussein Al Jasmi, young man Khaled, and artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, and the audience was on a date with many promotional offers that celebrated the march of the festival, and other events and entertainment shows in various parts City.
A concert will be held today at 8:30 pm by British superstar Liam Payne, a former member of the One Direction Ensemble and singer Georges Smith. Today, Dubai Opera is hosting a hologram concert for the eastern planet Umm Kulthum.
During the festival days, the public and visitors from inside and outside the country will be on a date with promotions and discounts of up to 75%, on more than 1,000 brands in about 4000 stores, and six shopping centers affiliated to «Majid Al Futtaim Real Estate» yesterday, discounts that reached 90%, and 25 shoppers won gift cards worth 10 thousand dirhams each, to be used for shopping during the festival period in those centers.
