Syrian artist Yasser Al-Azma has started his preparations for the new part of the series "Mirrors 2020", which will be the end of the famous comedy series that started 40 years ago.

The "Fun" website, which specializes in drama and cinema news, stated that the new part will include a number of stars of the previous parts, such as Abed Fahd, Salma Al-Masry, Maha Al-Masry, Safa Sultan, Abeer Shams Al-Din, Saif Al-Din Sabaie, Wafa Moussalli, Samia Al-Jazaery and others.

He added that work was done to attract a number of comic writers to agree on ideas and start in earnest with writing comic dramatic paintings that simulate reality and depend on the principle of comedy situation.

The Syrian media had reported, earlier, that the work is moving away from politics in form and content, and focuses on the humanitarian and social situations experienced by the Syrian and Arab citizens.

Yasser Al-Azmeh became famous for his satirical series "Mirrors", which he wrote and prepared for more than 35 years. He started it in 1982 with the director Hisham Sharbatji, during which he represented many characters who often bear the comic character.

It is reported that Al-Azmeh missed the drama seven years ago and his last appearance was in the 2013 Miraya series, directed by Amer Fahd.
