A family moved to live in a snowy house in Siberia in the Kangalasi Industrial Park on the outskirts of Yakutsk as part of a strange scientific experiment, where the family will live with her cat until the summer, according to the "Mirror" British site.

According to the project coordinator Pavel Vasilyev, the researchers' goal is to obtain data on "heat efficiency, and stability of the structure" in extreme weather conditions.

Meanwhile, scientists will also monitor the participants' condition during the experiment.

The temperature inside the dome is supposed to be 20 degrees below zero, and about 45 degrees below zero outside the dome's house, while the project developers decided to cover the building with a steel dome supported by frost-resistant plastic, so that the building materials from which the house was made provide fuel for heating and also protect the house from wind And snow.

Under the terms of the experiment, participants should post their observations about life under the dome on the Internet daily.

If the experiment succeeds, the experiment operators will try to install a larger dome over many homes.
