Two brides died today in northern Jordan on their first wedding night, suffocating to death by gas leaking from the gas heater inside their home in Mafraq.
The Civil Defense Department said in a statement that "rescue and ambulance cadres dealt this morning with a gas leak from a gas heater inside a house in Al-Mabrouka area, which resulted in the death of two persons aged (25 and 19) years, as a result of inhaling the gases emitted by the gas heater."
