His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has confirmed that "Martyr's Day" will remain a day of pride, glorification and reverence for the names of the timeless martyrs through time, and their light that shines to the righteous sons of the UAE and the paths of pride and heroism. It must accomplish and protect them and the successor of the Union and its gains.
The following is the text of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, who delivered through the magazine "Shield Al Watan" on the occasion of "Martyr's Day": In order to preserve the borders of this land and its precious resources, they have embodied models that follow the meaning of belonging to the homeland and loyalty to its flag, and have become role models for future generations and are informed by their steps.
As we celebrate today the martyrs of the UAE, military and civilian, we renew the covenant and fulfill their blood, and as we recall their sacrifices, we affirm that in the United Arab Emirates, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, we will spare no way to support the issues of truth and lend a helping hand to our brothers. The vulnerable who have suffered from the scourge of wars, sabotage and abuse, and we will be, leadership, army and people, help and support them, is the values of Zayed and his clear approach in support of issues of truth, and the bonds of Arab brotherhood.

As we remember the martyrs and have mercy on their pure souls, we pay tribute to their fellow members of the armed forces inside and outside the UAE, who arrive night by day to repel the response of all begging him to compromise the security and stability of our precious state, so they were the strong fortress of the UAE, and its loyal soldiers who do not hesitate to meet Call of Duty, when and wherever the house remains united, tall and peaceful.
