In order to prevent the branches from breaking due to the weight of the snow, a bamboo rope with a length of approximately 15 meters was set up, and “snowmaking” was performed to connect the ropes that were conically extended to the branches.
According to the landscaping companies that care for cherry blossoms, Ishiwari cherry trees are growing older and the number of dead branches is increasing year by year. The enclosure will be removed around the end of the month.
