Prize This year's narrator goes to Karwan Faraj and Rosa Fernandez, Sweden's radio, for the Terrorist wife and IS, a P3 Documentary in five parts that follows three siblings from Gothenburg when they travel to Syria to do Jihad.
The jury's motivation reads: Raw, straight and unsentimental gives listeners a unique insight into a Sweden where three siblings choose to travel to the terrorist sect IS.
The Grand Journalist Prize is awarded each year to journalists who have demonstrated their skills and performed a prominent journalistic work. The prize sum of SEK 100,000 is awarded in each of the following categories: the year's revelation, the narrator of the year, the innovator of the year, the vote of the year and Lukas Bonnier's Great Journalist Award.
The award was established in 1966 and is the most prestigious award for journalists. A jury of 15 people nominate three nominations in all categories three weeks before the awards ceremony, except for Lukas Bonnier's Grand Journalist Award. The prize is awarded by the Bonnier Group.
This year, the gala is led by media profile Olof Lundh.
