The mismanagement that, since the approval of the Constitution in 1978, the successive Governments of Spain have made the nationalist phenomenon is due to not having known -or wanted- to understand its profound nature. For the formations of this ideology, first : the nation is a sovereign subject ; and second: to every nation corresponds its State. These are the two basic ideas of nationalism, and to ignore them implies condemning us to a centrifugal dynamic that is hardly reversible.
