The American University of Sharjah witnessed yesterday the opening of the play "Adam Family", amid the presence of a large number of students and professors, and the play is inspired by the events, which is prepared and presented by students of the university, the famous cartoon series «Adam Family» written by Charles Adam, That tells the life story of an eccentric American family that loves horrible things.

The nine-day show, organized for two hours, was organized by the Performing Arts Program and directed by Anthony Tassa, professor and coordinator of the University's Performing Arts Program, and the musical coordination of Dr. Sherry Wheeler, Associate Professor of Performing Arts at the University.

The play was attended by American University of Sharjah students from various disciplines. Speaking about his participation in the play, Vignesh Barshad (student - first English literature) said that "when he heard about the play he decided to go for the performance experiments, he ended up playing the role of (Adam Gokies) head of the family (Adam family)."

"Before I joined the American University of Sharjah, I had no idea that I was going to experience such an experience," said Farah Kanawati. Moving from school to university can be daunting, but it can be easier if the student decides to go through different experiences and take advantage of all the opportunities. I had expressed my interest in running the theater for Professor Tasa, so he trained me to become part of the Performing Arts program. ”
