Coronation Celebration Parade Use of some post offices along the roadside Suspension November 6 17:27

Japan Post is a traffic-regulated area on the day of the celebration parade “Celebration of the procession” that will be held on the 10th of this month. We decided to suspend the use of some postboxes inside.

In the parade “Celebration of the Imperial Palace”, which is scheduled to be held on the 10th of this month, traffic regulation is carried out in a wide area around the route along the route from the Imperial Palace to Akasaka Imperial Palace.

In response to this, Japan Post decided to suspend the use of some of the posts because it could not collect the mail from the post in the traffic regulation area. I turned around and stuck a piece of paper saying "I'll block the entrance".

According to Japan Post, the Akasaka Post Office in the restricted area does not collect luggage from houses and businesses all day, and express delivery and registered mail will be delivered after 4.30 pm when the restriction is lifted. It means that there are times when it will shift to the next day.

On the other hand, the post office counter can be used as usual.

Aiko Hirashima, Director of Japan Post's Public Relations Office, said, “I would like to ask for your cooperation, although it would be inconvenient for those who use it.”
