Shinkiro "Daruma Taiyo" observation Nagasaki Goto, November 6, 14:40

Off the coast of Fukue Island in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, a phenomenon called the “Daruma Sun”, a kind of Shinkirou, was seen on the morning of the 6th.

On the morning of the 6th, Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, had a clear blue sky, and the lowest temperature was 9.2 degrees.

After 6:40 am on the 6th, when the morning sun slowly began to rise from the horizon, the sun's light reflected on the surface of the sea, and it seemed to expand downward.

This phenomenon is called the “Dharma Sun” because it looks like a lucky dharma is coming out of the sea. It is a kind of shinkirou where the sun appears to extend due to the temperature difference between the warm air near the sea surface and the cold air above the sky on a sunny morning from late autumn to winter.

“Daruma Taiyo” is considered an auspicious phenomenon in the local area, and has become a feature that makes you feel the mysterious beauty of this period when the cold is getting severe.
