BEIJING (Reuters) - A Chinese airline has punished one of its pilots for withdrawing his "lifelong" license after a young woman seated in the cockpit on social media appeared to provoke angry reactions for violating air safety regulations.
The video, posted by the young woman via her account on the social platform "Weibo", a Chinese version similar to "Twitter", shows a woman occupying the pilot's seat in plain clothes and indicates the victory sign.
"I am very grateful to the pilot! I am very excited," she said.
