A symposium was held in Tokyo to think about measures to prevent overwork death, and the bereaved family appealed to create a society where overwork death was eliminated and zero overwork death was achieved.

The symposium is held throughout the country by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in conjunction with this month's “Enlightenment Month for Preventing Overwork Death,” and approximately 350 people participated in the venue in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

At the symposium, Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare greeted, “Unfortunately, death from overwork is still high. We want to correct long working hours and create a comfortable society.”

After that, Toshiya Yamaguchi who lost his wife, Amami, who was a teacher three years ago, gave a lecture, “My wife suddenly fell down during a meeting and died in a situation where he took his work everyday. Still, the teacher's work environment continues to be harsh, and it is painful to think that the same thing may happen again.Society where you can enjoy working without long working hours and zero death from overwork I want you to become ".

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will hold these symposiums in various regions next month.
