The thirty protesters gathered outside the embassy believe that Handke is an unworthy recipient of the literature award, as they believe he has shown support for Serbia's former leader Slobodan Milosevic.
The manifestation took place at the same time as Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Deputy Prime Minister Isabella Lövin (MP) are on site in Bosnia for a climate meeting with the Presidential Council. Munira Subasic, chairman of the survivors' organization Srebrenica's mothers submitted a letter addressed to the royal couple with an invitation to withdraw the prize.
