An event was held in Koto Ward, Tokyo, to help couples raising children in condominiums, etc., not to be isolated from their surroundings.

This event was organized by Koto Ward by a group made up of mothers raising children.
At the venue, more than 60 booths were set up by organizations and companies to deepen exchanges while obtaining useful information for childcare.

Among them, doctors and midwives talked about the use of a consultation office such as the government because they were likely to become unstable due to changes in their physical condition and environment after giving birth.
In the “Papa Izakaya” corner, fathers talked about the concerns and anxieties of childcare with a non-alcoholic drink.

In Koto Ward, the construction of condominiums has continued, and the younger generation is increasing.
In such an environment, it has been pointed out that it is easy for parents to be isolated and chased and hurt themselves and their children, and how to make local connections is an issue.

A father who participated with a 3-year-old child said, “Daddy is grateful because there are few opportunities to exchange information on child-rearing.”

Mr. Yukiko Ito, Chairman of the Executive Committee, said, “I am happy that the event will reduce my anxiety about raising my child, and I will be able to face my child positively.”
