The Abu Dhabi Jewelery and Watches Exhibition will be held from 26 to 30 October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance.

The exhibition will unveil the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive guitar in the world, where visitors will be able to look at the inlaid guitar with more than 11,441 diamonds, weighing about 1.6 kilograms of white gold.

The guitar was designed by Mark Lowe, 68 craftsmen, and it took 700 days to complete. Michael Jackson's brothers played some of their concerts using the guitar.

“We used to show a lot of impressive things at every edition of the show, and this year we chose the most valuable guitar in the world, where we will let visitors know how to use it,” said Mohamed Mohieldin, director of the Jewelery and Watches Exhibition.

Mohiuddin pointed out that the Jewelery and Watches Exhibition is a platform that allows companies to present great new initiatives, to create an impressive experience for visitors, such as: (International Designers Gallery, UAE Designers Gallery, Innovation Award).

“We have developed an innovative vision for this year's edition to ensure that visitors have a great day with family and friends. There will be a wide range of designers, 150 international brands and other brands that are popular with UAE consumers,” added Mohieldin.

A number of brands will be launching new collections for the first time this year. Devji Aurum will introduce Rawhi Jewelery, Ferrari Firenze will present a new collection called Garbo, and Daisy, one of the new creative collections. Inspired by «Flower Petals».

For Indian companies, some brands are introducing new collections that will be on display for the first time, while artist Ramji Barney, founder of Dubai-based Labyati Jewelery, is exhibiting exquisite hand-made pieces in India.

The presence of Brazilian companies will be prominent this year, including: (Gold Design, Zanata Casa, Sweet Home, Nogedge Mason, Casa 57, Mallorca Jewels, Carol Kaufman Jewelry, Gold Suites, Gold Design Perfumes, So Carlos Moranos, And Renda by Camilla Ares Fashion).

The exhibition brings together unique pieces from brands from around the world, to give visitors the perfect opportunity to discover collections that are not readily available in the UAE, where the exhibition will be famous brands from 25 countries including: Lebanon, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Italy, Turkey, Thailand , Singapore, USA and UK.

Primus, established in 1959 in Thailand, will showcase luxury handcrafted diamonds.

Amwaj Jewelery, Abdullah Al Masood and Sons, along with other names, will offer exclusive collections to suit all requirements, such as daily wear jewelery, to trendy pieces designed specifically for brides.

Visitors seeking gemstones will also find unique collections when they visit Dusol Dahmani, Alyssa, Nsouli and Zein, offering a wide range of wedding jewelery decorated with a variety of gemstones, such as : Sapphire, emerald.

Visitors can enjoy wearing pieces of jewelry, through a virtual display, where they can browse through a wide range and wear different designs in a short time, without having to put on their bodies.

The exhibition will offer visitors an electronic gift bag, as well as a variety of special offers and coupons, to be used during the exhibition using their mobile phones.

Ladurie, a 150-year-old French classic pastry company, and world-renowned chef Matthew Kenny will launch a healthy menu dedicated solely to the show's days.
