On Europe 1, the humorist regrets that it is as difficult to adopt a child for a same-sex couple.

On stage in her shows or even in interviews, Jarry has always spoken freely about her homosexuality. The comedian used GPA (Surrogacy) in the United States to be a father. Guest of L'Equipée sauvage , Wednesday, on Europe 1, he regrets that France is late on this subject.

With the opening of the PMA (Assisted Medically Assisted Reproduction) to all women on 27th September, the subject of homosexuality has returned to the forefront. Without campaigning for the GPA, which he used, comedian Jarry regrets the delay of France on this subject. "I am so ashamed of France compared to adoption by a homosexual couple," he says. "How in 2019 in the country of human rights, we can not take into account that?", He wonders.

"Policies are completely out of touch"

If he went through the GPA, the comedian indicates that it is because of the complications to adopt in France. "I was already four years and I was told that we still had to wait between seven and nine years," says Jarry. The humorist tackles the way the men and women politicians, who do not take enough into account this topic of society according to him. "What astonishes me today is the extent to which politics are completely outside realities, (...) real life," he laments. "I do not know where these people live, but it's very worrying."
