The Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities announced today the discovery of a huge cache of human colored pharaonic sarcophagi in the Assasif area west of Luxor.
Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Khaled Al-Anani, accompanied by Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Antiquities Dr. Mostafa Waziri, inspected the new archaeological discovery which will be announced on Saturday, according to a ministry statement.
The statement added that the coffins were discovered in 20 pharaonic coffins, in good condition of preservation, colors and full inscriptions. One above the other.
