It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 140 km southeast of Almaty on the territory of the Kegen district of Almaty region.
The center of the earthquake lies at a depth of 10 km.
“There have been no reports of destruction or casualties,” the agency reports to RIA Novosti.
