British pianist Alton John has revealed his secret battle with prostate cancer, which he documented in his new autobiography, Me: Elton John Official.
"The oncologist told him he had two options, one of which was to remove the prostate through surgery," Alton said. "The other option was a course of chemotherapy.
Fortunately, the operation was considered successful, but John continued to have problems days later, as the pain was getting worse.
"The problems were caused by the lymph nodes and doctors had a colonoscope to address the problem," John said.
