German doctors have warned against taking painkillers before exercising, and German professor Ingo Frobose said this leads to chronic pain in the joints and muscles. The director of the health center at the University of Cologne sports that in the case of intense effort may amount to the occurrence of disorders of the body organs or bleeding.

Frobose pointed out that the feeling of pain plays an important role; it warns the body against overloading the limit, while painkillers prevent the perception of this feeling, and thus become the athlete more vulnerable to injuries.

Analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs may be used only in cases of injuries and diseases.
