On October 4, singer Yevgeny Osin would have turned 55 years old. Before gaining widespread fame, he worked in several musical groups, including the rock band Bravo. Osin became popular in the early 1990s - then his debut solo album “70th Latitude” was published, which incorporated the traditions of pop and yard music. The singles from this disc - "The Fellow Traveler", "I Don't Believe", "Yalta" - instantly became hits. Osin wrote his most famous song, “A Girl Cries ...”, inspired by the verses of Andrei Voznesensky. The singer's discography has 12 solo records, the last of which went on sale in 2016. Eugene Osin died on November 17, 2018 in Moscow from heart failure.
