500 women of 27 different nationalities participated in breaking the world record for the largest hand-knitted blanket without using a crochet hook.

Guinness World Records admitted the record after the participants successfully weaved more than 3,200 blankets, each with a dimension of one square meter.

The record breaking event was held at Dubai Sports City and revealed the blanket on the floor of an indoor football field.
