DENVER (Reuters) - The pilot of a US plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Denver after a passenger lit a hashish cigarette on board, causing chaos and panic among passengers.

According to the British Daily Mail, the man suffered a nervous attack when passengers intercepted the cigarette and ignited one of them before he entered the bathroom and closed the door on himself, saying: "I am under the influence of cocaine."

Immediately after the plane landed on Denver Airport, making a flight from Phoenix to the Canadian city of Minneapolis, US police arrested the motorist and took him for questioning.
