The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi has launched the Russian version of “The Words of the Leader… Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan” as part of its participation in the Moscow International Book Fair, which concludes today.
The book, which was launched in the presence of the Executive Director of the Book House Sector in the Department, Abdullah Majed Al Ali, and the Director General of the exhibition Andrei Gelmeza, and a number of Russian publishers, a selection of statements by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan May God rest his soul, reflecting the foundations upon which he depended, and the principles and values that shaped his vision of building and developing the state.
Abdullah Majid Al Ali said that «the launch of the Russian version of (words of the leader), an expression of the status of the founding father in the history of the state and the region in general, and the great achievements we are proud to provide to the world, through the publication of the book in different languages, as we have already launched the German version in Frankfurt International Book Fair, last October, and the English version at the London International Book Fair, last March ».
Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Director of Publishing, Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, said: “The late Sheikh Zayed will remain a milestone in the history of the region and a unique personality that will be difficult to replicate. It reveals various aspects of the legacy of the forgotten, values, principles and foundations of building societies and nations, a rich heritage of concepts that the world now seeks to spread and entrench in our souls, such as tolerance, coexistence, international cooperation, support for charity and sustainability, and other concepts. That extends to multiple areas. ”
