He cradled thousands of children with their sleep ... Marcel Ledun, puppeteer Teddy, flagship of the short program for children "Goodnight the little ones", died on the night of Thursday 29 to Friday 30 August. At the age of 90, he died at the EHPAD Saint-Antoine de Lille that he had just integrated.

Called by the producer of the show Claude Laydu in 1962, Marcel Ledun animated Nounours until 1976. The daily broadcast had reached in the 60s, 70s and 90s strong audiences on ORTF, RTF and France 2 .

A former journalist passionate about puppets

Marcel Ledun, a former journalist for Nord Éclair and former press officer at the Lille International Fair, was passionate about the wire puppet after his meeting with a famous puppeteer, Louis Pajot-Walton.

Each evening, the show created in 1960 by producer Claude Laydu, took the same frame. Teddy and his "boss", the sandman visited two children - Pimprenelle and Nicolas in the second season - before bedtime. The episode ended after the famous replica of Teddy: "Good night little ones! Have sweet dreams."

For the nostalgic, a Youtube channel, which brings together more than 22,000 subscribers, was created specifically to review the episodes of this cult program.
