At the beginning of the summer, a potentially uncertain future was reported for the National Museum's branch Jamtli in Östersund, due to the financially volatile situation of the state-owned National Museum. Two local politicians became alarmed and warned Minister of Culture and Democracy Amanda Lind about the situation in a letter.

But now the operation of the National Museum Jamtli is no longer threatened, writes Östersunds-Posten. The magazine has taken note of an email correspondence between representatives of the Jamtli Foundation, Henrik Zipsane Museum Manager and local politicians.

According to the newspaper, Jamtli's management during the summer has meant that the situation is resolved. The parties have a rental agreement and an economic plan which means that the estimated operating costs are covered. The agreement extends until the end of 2024.
