At present, 208 forest fires have been recorded in Russia with an ignition area of ​​256,660 ha.

The largest area of ​​forest fires is observed in the Irkutsk region (139 742 ha) and in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (108 335 ha).

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev ordered the government to allocate about 6 billion rubles to extinguish forest fires in several regions.
