Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie (44), her eldest Maddux (18), will enter Yonsei University.

Yonsei University said on June 6, "Maddox, the son of Angelina Jolie, will enter the Department of Biotechnology at UW undergraduate at Yonsei University in September."

Maddux, the eldest son of Jolie, decided to major in biochemistry at Yonsei University in South Korea, saying, "Maddux has been admitted to various universities, but I chose Yonsei University." Maddux has always been interested in Korean culture, and he added that it was the background of Korea's selection as a big fan of K-Pop. Maddux is already known to be taking Korean lessons.

Jolie has six children born to her former husband Brad Pitt, Knox, Vivian and adopted children Maddox, Pax, and Zahara. Maddox is the son of Jolie in 2002, who was adopted from Cambodia.

Jolie was reported to have been pleased with her visit to the campus of Yonsei University in Seoul last November with Maddux.

Jolie is scheduled to arrive in South Korea this month with Maddux to help her son find a place to live and prepare for his full-time study abroad. "If Maddux goes to Korea, Jolie can go to see his son often," media sources said.
