Dubai is to witness the opening of the world's first "café" next month, based on artificial intelligence and robotics, 100 percent without the need for a human factor.

Project owners said the coffee shop, owned by an Emirati company, is currently finishing its final touches on Dubai Festival City.

"The project will be based on 3 robots that provide services to customers," said spokesman Sara Al Hashim. "The customer can order his drinks and food through a tablet installed at the table.

She explained that the robot receives the demand and prepare and send it through automatic paths to the customer's table, and this process is a musical tone and a multi-color laser display, which gives pleasure to the attendees.

The project will be a unique experience in the region and add quality to the hospitality sector in Dubai and will be a destination and tourist attraction for UAE visitors.
