His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where he received an official reception ceremony on the occasion of his state visit to the friendly People's Republic of China.

He was greeted by President of the People's Republic of China, President Xi Jinping, and top Chinese leaders.

The grand opening ceremony began with the handshake of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, senior Chinese leaders, ministers and officials.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, accompanied by the Chinese President, headed to the honor hall where he played the national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and the People's Republic of China, while the artillery fired 21 rounds of salute to his Highness.

A group of Emirati and Chinese children dressed in national dress welcomed HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Then the military parade ceremony was welcomed by His Highness the Emir of China.

His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, HH Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Airports Company, Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazroui, Minister of Education Hussein Bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber and Deputy Secretary General Supreme Council for National Security Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, and State Ambassador to Beijing Ali Obaid Ali Al Dhaheri, Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan and a number of senior officials.
