The well-known Egyptian director Mohammed Al-Najjar died after a conflict with the disease and at the age of 65 years.

Al Najjar graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of directing, in 1978, and received a master's degree in directing in 1979, and was studying in many Egyptian technical institutes. He began his artistic career as an assistant director and director in about 52 films, with many film directors, notably the late director Atef al-Tayeb.
