The biggest film festival in the world is about to begin. Starting at 7:30 pm, the opening ceremony, hosted by comedian Edouard Baer, ​​will mark the start of the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival. After the presentation of the nine members of the jury, Jim Jarmusch's The Dead Do not Die will be screened, marking the start of the official competition and the race for the Palme d'Or.
