Pierre Lescure counts the hours that separate him from the mythical climb of the steps. On the eve of the opening of the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival, its president is impatient, exalted. More than ever, the boss of the Cannes Film Festival since 2014 is sure of the greatness of the event. "The Cannes Film Festival is still the biggest festival in the world, and it's not tomorrow that there will be a 'remontada', no more Venice than Berlin," he swears, amused. But to be the best, you need an essential element: sublime films "so that breeders can work well."

The composition of the jury also enthusiastic Pierre Lescure. Around the director Alejandro González Iñárritu, president of this jury, will include actress Elle Fanning.
