In Essen several arrest warrants were executed early Wednesday morning. Background of the arrests should be a brawl in Essen. On May 31, a 19-year-old Syrian was critically injured. A 22-year-old was taken into custody on the day of the match, but remained silent about the incidents. The following day, two more suspects were arrested in Viersen, who are also in custody.
The now arrested women and men should first be questioned. Evidence was found in the search of apartments and vehicles, it was said. Details are to be announced during the day at a press conference.
