The Wall: facing the wall , broadcast this Saturday, August 18 at 21 hours on TF1, is for the benefit of the Foundation for Medical Research (FRM). The opportunity for her to become better known, as explained by Denis Le Squer, Chairman of the Executive Board of the FRM.

What does it mean for the Foundation for Medical Research (FRM) to be exposed in a prime time like The Wall: facing the wall on TF1 ?

What is important is to make known our foundation, our cause, that of the support to medical research in France and to explain to what point it needs private support via the FRM. Having a sponsor like Thierry Lhermitte gives us access to shows like " The Wall: facing the wall ". We had an incredible chance, because during the shooting, Christophe Dechavanne was extremely involved in relaying our message.

You attended the shoot. How did it go ?

It's stressful because it's still a game, so there's a lot of randomness. We hope to go as far as possible and earn as much money as possible to support the cause. But, if gain is one thing, the visibility that is offered to us by the production and the chain is important too. Calls for SMS donations are crucial for us.

Thierry Lhermitte is a godfather particularly invested ...

I think it's been twelve years since he was a sponsor of our Foundation. He is very committed. He regularly visits labs and reports on different shows. For a time, it was in The Health Magazine (France 5). He also does it on the radio. He is passionate about medical research. He has a lot of fun meeting researchers, understanding what they are doing. For him, it is also important to use his notoriety to give visibility to these researchers.

"The Wall: facing the wall " at 9 pm, this Saturday, August 18, on TF1.
