The Sharjah Foundation for the Arts will present the second show of "Voice Dialog" on Friday evening. The film "Enthusiasm: The Donbass Symphony" by Russian director Dziga Vertov (1896-1954) will be accompanied by live music by experimental artists Lilian Shalala, Asma, in the cinema Mirage City in the Marijah area. The film "Enthusiasm: The Donbass Symphony" (1931), which is divided into three parts, is the socialism of the Donbass region. Stalin's five-year plan focused on efforts to increase economic productivity. The film is close to the concepts of building and growth, and the masses belonging to the system. Vertov's work is an avant-garde and exceptional work, and the techniques used have influenced many of the films that followed. The Sharjah Art Foundation launched the "Voice Dialogues" program last May, a semi-annual experiential event offering dialogue between music and cinema. The Foundation invites local and regional musicians to produce original pieces of music, performing in a live concert accompanied by the film.

The first edition of "The Controversy of My Voice" featured two films, "Berlin: The Great City Symphony" (1927) and "The Enthusiasm: The Donbass Symphony" (1931), and the two films explore the accelerating steps of industrial developments in the historical context of the European continent in the 1920s and 1930s .
