Count of Paris Henry of Orleans, pretender Orleanist to the throne of France, died Monday. The Comte de Paris was descended from the brother of Louis XIV, but also from Philippe-Egalite, who had voted for the death of King Louis XVI. His death coincides with the anniversary of the decapitation of the latter, January 21, 1793.
