The Council of Ministers approved the formation of the Board of Directors of the Emirates School for Education under the chairmanship of Jameela Bint Salem Musabah Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Public Education, in order to support the efforts of the Foundation to enhance the efficiency of the federal education sector.

The Council will focus on the development of policies, strategies, initiatives and standards related to the education sector in the country and propose legislation for the development of the learning environment and education programs in public schools to reach an integrated educational system that will contribute to improving the educational outcomes to cope with the qualitative and comprehensive development in the UAE. 2021, focusing on the development of a high-level educational system.

The delegation includes HE Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, HE Khalfan Jumaa Al Bahlul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, Dr. Raja Issa Al Gurg, CEO of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group and Najla Ahmed Al Madfaa, Executive Director of the Sharjah Center for Entrepreneurship, In addition to the Assistant Undersecretary for Knowledge and Cultural Policies at the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, the Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology Complex, a representative of the Ministry of Community Development and a representative of the Federal Youth Foundation.

It is worth mentioning that the Emirates Foundation for School Education was established in accordance with independent powers to manage and operate public schools in order to provide school education within the framework of the general policy of the State and to implement policies, strategies, standards and controls related to the education sector, including vocational and technical education and continuing education.
