The series of France 2 will be adapted in China, England, Italy and Canada, announced Monday the group Mediawan.

The French series Ten percent , behind the scenes of a star agency, will be adapted in four countries including China and the United Kingdom, announced Monday its producer, the group Mediawan.

" Ten percent will get a remake in China, England, Canada and Italy with our subsidiary Palomar", told reporters Pierre-Antoine Capton, co-founder and CEO of the group, on the sidelines of MIPTV (international market television programs), a high-mass television event that runs until Thursday in Cannes.

The series has had a great success internationally. The series, called in English Call My Agent! , was developed by producer Dominique Besnehard. It tells the adventures of a Parisian agency specializing in the management of the career of movie stars, and staged real celebrities, who play their own role with a lot of self-deprecation including Isabelle Huppert, Monica Bellucci, Jean Dujardin or Isabelle Adjani.

Pierre-Antoine Capton had already indicated at the beginning of the year working on an Italian version of the series of France 2, thanks to the purchase of the transalpine producer Palomar ( Commissioner Montalbano , The name of the rose ).
The original version of Ten Percent has met with notable success internationally (the first 3 seasons are available on Netflix), and a fourth season is in development.

Soon an adaptation to the cinema? Pierre-Antoine Capton cited this series as an example of the strategy of Mediawan, which seeks to decline its content in different formats (TV series, film, animation ...) and to design them with potential on the international scene. He did not exclude a film version of Ten Percent .

Mediawan, founded at the end of 2015 by Pierre-Antoine Capton, Xavier Niel and Matthieu Pigasse, rose to the rank of first producer of fiction in France, from Red Bracelets TF1 to the purple rivers of France 2. After Palomar in Italy, the group continues to discuss acquisitions in Spain and Germany, confirmed the leader.
