A judicial source from Sudan has reported that the prosecution has opened two reports against the deposed president, Omar al-Bashir, on charges of laundering money and possession of huge sums.
The head of the Transitional Military Council, General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan Abdul Rahman, was released on Friday, Abdul Majid Harun from his position as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
In a statement to the head of the Transitional Military Council, the head of the Sudanese newspaper Al-Jarida, he said that he had dismissed Abdel-Majid Haroun as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information and revealed that he did not know his political history and previous affiliation before his appointment.
