New Zealand will host the 2021 Women's Rugby World Cup, the first in the Southern Hemisphere, after being preferred to Australia's bid, World Rugby said on Wednesday.

The World Rugby Council voted 25 to 17 in favor of the candidacy of the country of the reigning world champions in 2017 in Ireland.

The matches will be held in Whangarei (north) and Auckland, in four stadiums, including the legendary Eden Park. Dates are not yet known
